4. UI & Operation Definitions

4.1 Button Operations

Button Function
Power Button Long press: Fan On/Off. Single click: Cycle RGB light effects (Fantasy 1 → Fantasy 2 → Fantasy 3 → Off), effective only when Bluetooth is on.
Bluetooth Button Long press: Bluetooth On/Off (device name: Bluetooth Fan). Single click: Play/Pause during music playback. Double click: Pairing Mode On/Off (with prompt tone).
Slider Switch Wind speed adjustment: 1 – 100 levels. Push up to increase, push down to decrease.

4.2 Display Indicators

Fan Icon Solid on when fan is running; screen turns off after 30s into screensaver mode.
Fan Gear LED Displays current level 1 – 100.
Battery Percentage Displays 0 – 100% battery level.
Low Battery Starts flashing at 9%; low-battery prompt tone (when Bluetooth is on).

Bluetooth Icon Searching: slow flash. Connected: solid on + power-on tone. Pairing Mode (one master connects to N slaves for synchronized music & RGB): pairing enabled → fast flash; pairing success → master fast flashes, slave solid on.

Note: If Bluetooth is on but not connected to any device, the speaker function automatically shuts off after 3 minutes.

5. Reliability Tests

5.1 Drop Test

Method:

  • a. Bare unit: each face dropped vertically from 60 cm, 6 consecutive free-falls onto a 20 mm hardwood board.
  • b. Packaged unit: each face dropped vertically from 50 cm (1 corner / 3 edges / 6 faces) onto a 20 mm hardwood board.

Criteria:

  • a. Product functions normally; slight housing cracking acceptable if recoverable.
  • b. Slight carton deformation acceptable; no rupture allowed; product appearance and functions normal.

5.2 Vibration Test

Method: Frequency 30 – 50 Hz, horizontal sweep amplitude 3 mm for 30 min; vertical sweep amplitude 3 mm for 30 min. Criteria: 100% inspection of packaged units — no functional defects.

5.3 High/Low Temperature Storage Test

Method:

  • a. Packaged sample in chamber: ramp 1 °C/min, stable at 60 °C ±3 °C, humidity 85% ±3%, duration 24 h. Test functions after 2 h recovery.
  • b. Packaged sample in chamber: ramp 1 °C/min, stable at −20 °C ±3 °C, duration 24 h. Test functions after 2 h recovery.

Criteria: No functional defects; battery must not bulge, smoke, or leak; housing must not deform or bubble.

5.4 High-Temp & High-Humidity Operation Test

Method: Sample in chamber at 40 °C ±2 °C, humidity 85% ±3%, for one full charge-discharge cycle. Criteria: No functional defects; battery must not bulge, smoke, or leak; housing must not deform or bubble.

5.5 Plug / Unplug Force Test

Method: Plug and socket fixed on dedicated equipment, repeatedly cycled at ≤ 200 cycles/hour, total 1,000 cycles. Inspect structure and test functions afterward. Criteria: Mechanical structure intact; functions normal.

5.6 Salt Spray Test

Method: Expose sample at 30 ±5 °C, humidity > 85%, continuously sprayed with 5 ±1% NaCl solution for 48 h, then air-dried naturally for 24 h. Criteria: Surface free of corrosion, oxidation bubbles, pitting, or plating peeling = Pass.
